The description with this said it had no flavor?!! It has plenty of flavor....been disappointed with other salt substitutes & only bought this for crabcakes & shrimp. I'm using it on EVERYTHING. It's really got a kick to it so use sparingly.

Great if you're on a salt restricted diet! My spouse & I both are on salt restricted diet, J.O. Spice Company #1 All purpose Seafood Seasoning NO SALT has made it so I can now fix streamed shrimp and steamed Maryland Blue Crabs so we can enjoy them and stay within our allowed amount of sodium for the day. I just use the J.O. Spice Company #1 All purpose Seafood Seasoning NO SALT and then as the shrimp or crabs are about to be served I measure a 1/2 teaspoon of regular J.O. Spice Company #1 All purpose Seafood Seasoning then sprinkle that over the dozen crabs or 1/2 lbs of shrimp for use and that adds just enough salt to the food to taste great and stay at our allowable amount of sodium for a meal. So glad I found, J.O. Spice Company #1 All purpose Seafood Seasoning NO SALT.
